  • Celia is originally from Ilsabard, the home continent of the Garlean Empire. She was considered a conquered person by their standards, and harbors little love for her former oppressors. She'd be interested in meeting fellow refugees (or yelling at said former oppressors, don't be shy now).

  • She is a member of Ul'dah's Thaumaturge's Guild and would likely be delighted to rub shoulders with fellow members or unaffiliated thaumaturges.

  • Need a relic found, or want someone to speculate about historical events with? Celia's definitely on board for both, and is eager for excuses to go out into the world looking for ancient troubles.

  • Celia enjoys a good night out on the town drinking and people-watching, when all else fails. Don't be afraid to chat.

  • Celia has the echo, though this isn't really liable to ever come up unless we both agree it'd be interesting to play around with.

Hi there! 30+ year old writer, and I prefer to interact with those older than 21. I prefer writing one-to-two paragraph, shorter in the wild, longer if I'm doing a one-on-one scene. I don't expect mirroring on either side; give me substance and we're good.As a prelude to anything else; please, please, please be mindful of your writing partners, they are people too. Getting ghosted sucks, having long-running roleplay get dropped abruptly sucks - be open and communicative. If I come back for RP with you a lot, it's because I'm invested and am passionate about writing these characters. Please do not treat that flippantly or leave me in the lurch if we develop something fun and fulfilling, there's few worse feelings in this hobby than being discarded. Life happens, but communication and honesty don't have to be optional. If we become friends, then be a friend. Thanks.Things I prefer -
◦ Long term plots and writing partners. These characters should preferably have plots and hooks of their own!
◦ For this character, themes of high adventure, mercenary work, historical investigation and magical exploration are very good. She will get on best with characters who play to these interests, but she works well with high and low society types just fine.
Romance, with the right character. Getting along OOC is a must, and obviously IC and OOC are two different things entirely. She's happily taken!
◦ Adventures and intrigue and moral dilemmas. Grounded themes are a must, and though I'll do my best to adhere to the setting and lore, I'm fine with a bit of headcanon so long as it's restrained.
◦ Business opportunities, be they dubiously legal or fully above-board. Celia is very flexible, and I enjoy finding justifications for my character's material wealth.

Things I don't prefer -
◦ Novella-style roleplaying where characters feel the need to reply to each and every thing that's said or emote'd about. It's fine if you enjoy this, but I do not. I prefer snappy, reasonably quick-paced roleplay scenes that take a few hours or less.
◦ Endless slice of life roleplay. She'll stand around the Quicksands to meet and drink, but let's go other places too.
◦ High-power characters. Not my cup of tea. No WoLs, Ascians, Voidsent/Sin Eater hybrids, no thank you. If it seems outlandish and overpowered, I'm really just not interested.
◦ 'How's your day?' Again, give me substance. Let's roleplay about themes, events and storylines, not people's sex lives and dating drama. These can be fine as starting places, but not perpetually.
◦ Sexual themes are best with consent communicated between both parties. I will not roleplay with you if you take this for granted. Sexual roleplay is not a major aspect of this character, and I will walk-away promptly if your own gratification is all you seem to care about.
◦ On a related note, Celia is very happily in a relationship. If your angle seems to be that you get kicks out of homewrecking and get OOC about it, I'll probably blacklist you and move on. Please don't be weird!
◦ Mutilation, death, sexual violence, etc etc - please do not spring these on me without communicating, and I reserve the right to say no, and I will extend you the same courtesy. Fight me on that and I will blacklist you immediately.
